My Own Personal Review of the 2008 Stealth Plus 34" 27oz
If you've swung a new Helmer and a New Stealth Plus then you will know what I'm talking about... This is the best USSSA bat Easton has in its arsenal. Just like the ASA bat, they've improved upon their 1st gen Stealth Comps and now their the best bats they make. I swore the Helmers would be the best bat Easton made in the last 10 years, but I was wrong. So honestly if your looking at a new Easton, walk by the Helmer and pick up a Stealth. This bat wont disappoint... The end load is heavier then a Helmer, the feel is softer, and the sweet spot is much larger. Not to mention the break in time is way faster then the Helmer. With that said I don't think this is quite as good as the original Synergy 1 (SCX2) bat they released back in 2003, but it is still a dang good stick. The ball jumps off this bat and has a great finish when it gets into the outfield. The hrs felt like I didn't even hit the ball... The only complaint is the price is a little high at $349.95, but other then that this bat has nothing else I can say bad about it. The distance, feel and sweet spot were all improved upon from 2007. As always Easton still offers a 2 time replacement on Slow-pitch bats as long as the bat was not abused or used in a batting cage etc. Their warranty department is also one of the fastest in the business. I returned my last broken Easton on a Monday, they received it on Wednesday, and I had my new bat that Friday... NOW THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE! Easton gets a knock in the value department simply because of the $349.95 price tag, but once you get past the sticker shock you will be very pleased with your investment.
