My Own Personal Review of the 2008 Stealth CNT ASA 34" 27oz
I like to consider myself a bit of a bat guru, knowing the things that companies change and tweak from one year to the next and how they will effect the bats performance. Like when DeMarini added the FLI technology to their bats back in 2002, and how badly that hurt the performance of their bats. Well this year for Easton they changed something, but I cant figure out what it is. The new Stealth 2008 has better pop, and breaks in even faster then the 2007. I don't know what they changed, but what ever it was that they changed, it was definitely a good thing. The new 2008 Stealth ASA is in my honest opinion the best ASA bat in Eastons lineup. Yes even better then the new Brett Helmers and the Synergy Flex. The price is a little high at $349.95, but other then that this bat has nothing else I can say bad about it. The distance, feel and sweet spot were all improved upon from 2007. As always Easton still offers a 2 time replacement on Slow-pitch bats as long as the bat was not abused or used in a batting cage etc. Their warranty department is also one of the fastest in the business. I returned my last broken Easton on a Monday, they received it on Wednesday, and I had my new bat that Friday... NOW THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE! Easton gets a knock in the value department simply because of the $349.95 price tag, but once you get past the sticker shock you will be very pleased with your investment.
