My Own Personal Review of the Rip It Elite Softball Bat
Don’t let the name fool you, the RIPIT Senior is not just for the senior players… This bat has mad pop, and a very big sweet. The sweet spot is really amazing when you take into consideration that the bat doesn’t have an almost industry standard 14” barrel. If you’re looking for something to swing after your Freak gets banned in 2008, then give the Rip it a try . This bat has the same super stiff handle and nice soft barrel that we’ve all come to know and trust from the Freak. The break in time was minimal, and with in 50 swings the ball was flying off of the barrel like it was a 100mph bat. We tested the bat with .44 cor balls on a 300ft field in a range of temperatures and it did well no matter the conditions. It was a little cold out when we first started hitting, so that probably helped break the bat in a little faster then normal. would give your Rip-It at least 100 swings before you expect it to perform to its potential, or even more swings before it performs like a 100mph bat. The rip it has a great feel, and swings balanced. If you’re looking for ENDLOAD, this is not your bat. I would say that the overall performance is equal or better then anything Miken has produced since the FREAK. So if you’re a big Miken fan, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to make the switch.
