My Own Personal Review of the 2006 Worth PSTOC 34" 28oz
The First thing I noticed was the nice feeling, lighter
then normal swing weights... These pst's are the first 28oz that are true to 27.5-28.5oz
on a digital scale. Ive seen so many 28oz pst's weighing in at 29oz-30oz, that I was expecting
the new one's to be a log too... Well the first three I picked up were 27.5, 27.8 and 28oz
EXACTLY... THATS AWESOME to say the least... Because with the PST, the key to distance is
bat speed. This bat can not be over swung... The Harder you swing it, the more it likes it...
I felt as though there was no limit to how hard you could compress these walls... The titanium
sleeve they have on this badboy is flexing like no pst has in years... I dont know, but Im
guessing the Optimized Compression shell is the key to this bat's SUPER SWEET FEEL right
outta the wrapper.
The 27oz still has the slightly shorter barrell, and the 28 and 30oz have the longer barrell's
like the older models... There is absolutely no counter weight, or handle weight in the new OC...
So dont worry about slow hands, because with no handle weight to slow you down, your gonna be
swinging like a demon... The PSTOC is the best pst since the B&G PST137 (which is one of
my most favorite bats of all time). The only drawback I can see is on a really hot day when the
balls get to mushy to flex the walls... But other then that, this bat is right up there with
the top bats for 2006...
