My Own Personal Review of the DeMarini Juggernaut Softball Bat
DeMarini has a lot of work to do if it wants to clear its name for being a slacker in the composite department. We all know that the EVO when it was released was supposed to revolutionize the game, and it just didn’t live up to the hype. Well the Juggernaut is the bat to clear DeMarini’s name and put them back on the map as one of the top producers of slowpitch softball bats in the world. This bat is SMOKING HOT and has a GIGANTIC SWEET SPOT! No matter where on the barrel you hit the ball, it jumps off… As long as you don’t hit the endcap, your going to LOVE THIS BAT!!! It took me about 20 or so swings to get used to the way the bat swung, and then the bombs were flowing. We had some tape measure shots in the 400ft range with .44 375 and .44 525 softballs. If your playing more then one association, and don’t want to buy a bat for each, then the Juggernaut is your STICK! This bat could easily compete in the USSSA 100MPH world of bats, and absolutely smoke most 98mph bats. The break in period is almost non existant… Give her 100 swings and your ready for the long ball! The feel is definitely different then a Freak or a Synergy 2, but if you can just take a round of BP with this bat, and get used to the way it swings, you wont be disappointed.
