Please note that new for 2008, Big Vick's Ultimate Softball will be applying some new guidelines for bat reviews. These small changes I believe will give you an even more in depth review and help you when it comes time to make that $300 investment for your new bat. I will be covering the bats overall performance, overall distance, sweet spot, value based on MSRP or MAPP, and the company/warranty and customer service of the manufacturer of the bat. What this will do for you the customer is allow you to make an educated purchase knowing that I've dealt with these companies, tested their bats, and will expose them for their good service, bad service etc... The scores will be based on a value of 1-10 for each category. A a total of 50 points is possible. Please also note ASA bats will be scored on a total value of 50 ASA points, and USSSA bats will be based on 50 USSSA points. What does this mean? It means that when you see a USSSA bat at 44 and an ASA bat at 44, their not equal. It means that they are equal in total score for their respective associations.
