My Own Personal Review of the Combat B1 DaBomb
This bat was hot with in 10-15 swings of the wrapper
coming off... No break in time needed... When I compare this bat to the original C4, the
first thing I notice is the way the ball leaves the bat.. There is no comparison. Sure the
C4 was good for low comp mush balls, and it had decent performance for a $200 bat, but it
was not anywhere near the elite bats such as the Miken Freak, Synergy +, Toledo Katana, etc...
This B1 is in the company of the best bats ever made... Some people are saying it is as hot
as the hottest bats ever made (yes including the ultra etc) and even better then the freak,
freak+, katana, and others! I would rank it in my top 2 bats for the year with the well broken
in freak Ive been swinging since the start of the 2004 season.
For me the balls were getting through the infield easily as quick as the freak, but the real
sign of greatness was the distance... The distance I was getting off the B1 was incredible, it
was easily another 10-20 feet further then any other bat in my bag... If your looking for home
run power, even when you miss the ball, the B1 will DELIVER! I did not think it would be possible
to improve upon the freak, but with the B1 at the very least your getting a bat that will keep
up with or go beyond even the hottest of bats (such as the freak/freak+)
